Re: Basic formula question

That worked great. Thanks for the solution. I have a few more questions if you don't mind:

1. In the javascript I had written and with the one Gilad D had suggested to me every time I clicked "ok" after editing the javascript I would get this message: "This document is trying to connect to {file path of the document I am in}, do you want to allow this?" Which didn't make any sense to me as why would the very document I am editing try to reconnect to itself?

2. In the code above how would I add text as part of the output in both before the numbers in some cells and after the numbers in other cells? In the code you placed above there is a cell that has to read "## or more days on record", (where ## is the result of the formula).

3. Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to simulate a table in Acrobat? Basically I am trying to recreate the vlookup function from MS excel. A simple 2 column table would be where the formula looks up a number (usually 1 - 100) and pulls the result of that number from the second column.

4. Is it also possible in Acrobat to simulate a table with multiple rows and columns that cross references two other fields to pull the corresponding result and outputs it to the field?

Bruce
