Adobe Media Encoder has options as illustrated. I havent investigated how Adobe achieves progressive but if they are doing it right then it should be a sum of the 2 fields. the lines that are visible in the sample pic above get merged into a sort of motion blur looking smear which beats the lines hands down. systems that only use 1 field (either field 1 or field 2) to create the whole frame reduce the resolution of image and movementImage may be NSFW.
