Adobe makes it impossible to cancel your membership. I came on the site to cancel automatic renewal because I am changing firms and my current employer paid for my subscription. I am in an endless loop that keeps on sending me to the forums. This is clearly intentional. They hope that users will get frustrated and just sit back and accept the renewal.
This makes no sense when there is much cheaper and free software that does everything Adobe's overpriced applications do. I am left calling American Express and notifying them to reject any subsequent charges from Adobe. I have seen this once before with E-fax.
InDesign was once a cutting edge product. I am doing everything I used to do on the Adobe platform with Scribus. I am so incensed by this that I also intend to contact the Better Business Bureau. Has anyone else encountered the same problem? I would imagine thousands have.
