I'm in Canada, if it makes any difference. Anyway, after seeing how many people have had this kind of issue without any help from Adobe, I'm starting to think that a class action lawsuit might be our best option. This looks like an attempt to pester and stonewall people who have legal perpetual license versions of CS software into signing up for Creative Cloud. (If I'm wrong, any member of Adobe's elusive support staff should feel free to jump in at any time and help us solve this massive screw-up on Adobe's part.) According to what I've read online, some people have even gone as far as using KeyGens to get their software working again...and it apparently works better than waiting for Adobe support!!! (What the hell kind of message is Adobe trying to send here?) Anyway, I own a legal copy of the software...and it's been working perfectly for the last two years (until now)...and my serial number is still listed on my Adobe Account page, and it looks just fine...it doesn't say anything about being "invalid" or whatever...and I'm not going to download KeyGens or Crackware, or any of that crap...and hell, yes, I will sue if I have to. This is either a horrible technical glitch...in which case Adobe should fix it, not us...or it's a fraudulent business practices lawsuit and/or antitrust case waiting to happen. In any case we (the real victims here) should complain, complain some more, and then sue if Adobe doesn't make this right...and soon.
