We want to cover all grounds. So aside from searching the document or part number in the PDF, we use Notepad to confirm if the barcode data was entered correctly. We had an issue before wherein the client returned the certifications sheet just because the barcode doesn't scan correctly. When we checked the barcode details we found out that there was a missing * symbol at the end of the doc part number. And we don't have scanners onhand, they never gave us one... funny, but true. We only do their documentation.
