Premiere CC 2014 has been an issue for us. Constant crashing, errors, and poor 4K performance. The older version of Premiere CC is our solution…however, the older version no longer appears as a downloadable app in the Creative Cloud portal. It simply isn’t there, nor can I find it on the website.
I’ve tried creating an installer package containing the older version using CCP. It packages OK, but any and all packages are failing to install. They instantly freeze during install @ “running package scripts”. I’ve tried everything under the sun to re-package and install. I’ve used different machines to create the installer using CCP. I’ve tried installing on different machines. I’ve also tried to install older packages, on machines that have 10.8.5 and 10.9.4. No go. We are running brand new Mac Pro's and MacBook retina 15". 10.8.5 and 10.9.4
Long story short, we have no way to install the older version of Premiere CC on our new Mac's. The fact that even old packages, which worked just a few days ago are causing the same error, on brand new machines...is very odd.
Any suggestions? Will this be added back to the list of downloadable apps so that users can self-install non-2014 CC apps as needed?
