Re: The black "show shadow clipping" indicator not extinguishable. What can be done? I tried the obvious. There is no evidence of clipping.

What has been stated thus far is in line with what I know about LR.  The inconsistency is that when I hover over the upper left white triangle, no blue appears at some settings.. The blue disappears with "Black" => +2 and "Shadow" => +10.  Varying one necessitates varying the other to eliminate the blue completely.  If I vary the "Saturation" <+ -86 then the white triangle turns Gray.  This is not what I am accustomed to observing in LR3 or LR4.  As you stated, the blue could be only a few pixels and not easy to see.  In my case it is impossible to see.  One would surmise that changing the  "Black" and "Shadow" from the values indicated above to the extreme, +100 would be sufficient to eliminate a few pixels and allow the indicator to turn gray but such is not the case.  It remains white unless I set the "Saturation" to <-86.   Would it help if I shared an image?  Thanks.
