In specific response to this: Did you run the DNG converter version 8.6 on your raw files and convert them to DNG files?
One gotcha that catches people who haven't run it before is that the dialog for selecting the folder within which to convert files to DNG doesn't show thumbnails. But go ahead and run it anyway on that folder. You'll find it will convert the files.
