I'm beginning a project which will be videos wrapped in a Captivate application with tips appearing at cue pints in the slides, as the video is broken into multiple slides. The videos are really large some 100 megs. My question is does breaking them into multiple slides affect the loading speed or not? I've been experimenting with the video divided into 4 slides and the preloader set to 50% and it loads fine on my computer, which is a quad core i7 with 16 gig of ram. Slower computers er, not as good but it still loads after a few buffer spins. So, if you can't use an iFrame in Captivate to play a video from say Vimeo, is the only solution breaking up the videos into pieces?
