Never did see this happening. Could you try to restart Captivate, clear cache?
Have some tips, because FIB has always been a trouble: for dropdown lists, put the longest word on top, because the width of the text field will be adapted to it. If you want to be able to see the whole word when it is chose, add 3 or 4 spaces after the word as well.
