We have a check writing application that produced the checks in PDF format. We purchased the OCR-A, MICR font from Adobe, and I developed the check on my PC, and tested them to our MICR check printer. The bank wants the MICR line in bold, so that's what I've done, and it prints fine from my machine.
But the person who actually prints our checks can't get the bold to work. I installed the same fonts on her machine, and we're both using the same Adobe reader version (latest version). The print drivers are the same. Printer and Adobe reader settings appear to be the same.
Anyone have an idea as to why this would be? I haven't seen something like this before and not sure what the fix is.
