It would appear that with CC 2014 this bug is still present. Are we missing something?
Also, keyboard focus for actions like delete or copy is STILL taken from Illustrator when clicking anywhere inside a panel and will not be released until you click outside of the panel. Haven't tested any javascript functions to see if activate() or some such will work, but it didn't before. Le sigh.
