"Unknown Recorder Error" when attempting to capture HDV from Sony HDV 15P Deck

I can capture DVCam from the same deck but not HDV (1080i25), Premere CC2014 gives me "Unknown Recorder Error".

Deck works with Final Cut X and the deck works on Premiere on my Macbook (just not my iMac).

I've removed Adobe CC completely using the Adobe clean product and reinstalled, the problem persists.

I've contacted Adobe who said they can duplicate the issues and I'm still awaiting a response on it. Anyone having issues?
