Re: images once exported (RAW) do not show up in catalog or previous imorts not film strips in library nor develop. They are in the files to which they were exported

Exported images are not automatically added to the catalog, unless you specify that in the export dialog. This is standard behavior. Take a closer look at the export dialog and you will see a setting for this.
