Until this is resolved, you can have both Audition CC (6.0) and CC 2014 (7.0) installed, and continue to use 6.0.  I would first suggest reinstalling that version so that your work is not impacted while we troubleshoot this.

 

This is generally caused by either an incomplete or conflicting installation of the MS Visual C++ Runtime, which most Windows applications require for access to Windows services and libraries.  If you check the Control Panel > Programs and Features utility, you'll probably see several different versions installed, and usually they all co-exist just fine. 

 

Can you post a screenshot of the "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime" group in your Programs and Features dialog?  Mine, from a clean image apart from Chrome, Creative Cloud Desktop, and Adobe Audition, looks like this:
